HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 28

Requesting the Secretary of the Department of Transportation to authorize raising highway speed limits, where appropriate, to 75 miles per hour on Interstate highways in West Virginia and to 70 miles per hour on West Virginia's Appalachian Corridor highways.

Resolved by the Legislature of West Virginia:

That the Secretary of the Department of Transportation authorize raising highway speed limits, where appropriate, to 75 miles per hour on Interstate highways in West Virginia and to 70 miles per hour on West Virginia's Appalachian Corridor highways.

Further Resolved, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates forward a copy of this resolution to the Secretary of the Department of Transportation and the Governor.
